Road Safety Movement is a voluntary, non-profit, and humanitarian organization committed to promoting safer roads, responsible mobility, and sustainable transportation systems in Bangladesh.
Founded with the vision of reducing road crashes and protecting human lives, the organization works through research, education, advocacy, community engagement, and victim support initiatives. We believe that road safety is not only a transportation issue — it is a public health, human rights, and social justice concern.
Our initiatives aim to build a safer, more accountable, and people-centered transport environment for all road users, including pedestrians, passengers, cyclists, motorcyclists, drivers, children, older persons, and persons with disabilities.
To ensure a safe, sustainable, and accountable transportation system for everyone.
To reduce road crashes and related losses through education, research, policy advocacy, technology, public awareness, and community participation.
Road Safety Movement is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization that emerged from the historic 2018 Students’ Safe Road Movement in Bangladesh. Born out of a national demand for justice, accountability, and safer roads, the organization has grown into a structured platform working to build a safe, sustainable, and humane road transport system for all.
We work to build a safe, accountable, and humane road transport system through research, education, training, and advocacy—while supporting victims and promoting public awareness.
